Rio Grande Valley native Art Beckwith is living his family's legacy — a path of innovation, hard work and love for the land. A former rodeo performer, and longtime farmer and rancher, Art wears many hats. He is fluent in Spanish and is an active pilot. An active member of the community, he served as chairman of the board for the Rio Grande Valley Sugar Growers, Inc., was actively involved in the local school board, and is the founder and past president of Producers Marketing Co-Op in San Angelo, Texas. He rarely stops long to rest as he balances his agricultural, agribusiness and civic responsibilities.
